Think Pink!

October starts breast cancer awareness month!!!

Unfortunately in this day and age it seems that everyone knows someone who has been affected by breast cancer. Cancer does not discriminate against age, race, creed, or gender. Our mothers, sisters, cousins, friends, grandmothers, aunts, and children are affected and its time we fight for a cure!

For the month of October Glamhairus will be selling pink semi-permanent hair extensions as a way to raise money for breast cancer and raise awareness. You can purchase 1 strand for $20, 2 for $35, or 3 for $50. All proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society.

Did you know …
·       Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women worldwide.
·       In 2010, there were more than 2.5 million breast cancer survivors in the US!
·       About 1 in 8 women in the United States (12%) will develop invasive breast cancer over the course of her lifetime.
·       About 70-80% of breast cancers occur in women who have no family history of breast cancer. These occur due to genetic abnormalities that happen as a result of the aging process and life in general, rather than inherited mutations.
